Quite honestly, without the training I received at Edinburgh, I don't think I could have effectively run my organisation. I had an IT background and switched to a social science background, so didn't have a good understanding of social science research. Everything I know today is because of the skills I acquired from the University.

The program's interdisciplinary focus has left a lasting impact on me, and I now wish to pursue a career in academia and policy research to continue my exploration in this domain.

This programme is built around interdisciplinary thinking, developing creative and critical approaches to building and adapting future infrastructure, recognising the data skills needed to address complex social challenges, and the application of knowledge to live projects.

As an international student, the experience at the University of Edinburgh, especially in a program like Global Mental Health and Society, is immensely rewarding. The cultural diversity on campus creates a unique environment where students from all over the world come together, offering the opportunity to learn from varied perspectives and build a global network.

The University of Edinburgh is one of the most prestigious universities in the world. I chose to study there for its global reputation and quality of research. The interdisciplinary nature of the Design Informatics - MFA programme at ECA was attractive to me. In the programme, students from a design background have the opportunity to learn about data science and explore how they can conduct design practice by shaping data.
