Welcome Meeting for Visiting Students

As a new visiting student, you are required to engage with the Welcome Meeting for Visiting Students.

What does the Welcome Meeting include?

A mandatory introduction to the University of Edinburgh for all undergraduate study abroad and exchange students in the College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences. The talk will discuss academic norms, visiting student life in Edinburgh and what support is available to you.

Students can collect a copy of the Visiting Student Undergraduate Handbook to use throughout their studies at Edinburgh from the Visiting Student Office.

You are required to engage with the Welcome Meeting for Visiting Students.  This introduction to the University of Edinburgh is for all undergraduate study abroad and exchange students in the College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences.  The presentation will cover the University’s academic norms, student life in Edinburgh, and the support services available.
