Who will support me on the International Foundation Programme?

You will have a named academic member of staff who will offer you guidance and support with your studies and help you with any academic issues that you have.

You will also have access to a named Student Adviser who can help you if you need help with your wellbeing, health and other non-academic matters.

Your Student Adviser will also be able to signpost you to other support services in the University should you require specific assistance.

If at any time during the programme you have questions, concerns or are looking for advice, the IFP team can be reached by e-mailing IFPStudentSupport@ed.ac.uk.

This e-mail is monitored by a team of people so you will receive a response quickly. The University’s support teams are available 24 hours a day including out of office hours and at weekends.
