A range of research and knowledge exchange activity funding opportunities for College staff. The College Research and Engagement Office liaises with Schools in CAHSS and the Edinburgh Research Office to coordinate research funding applications and large or interdisciplinary calls that require demand management. External Funding School Research Offices have expert teams to support and guide researchers through the application process. They can help with:identifying funding opportunities to preparing a realistic budget;arranging peer review; ensuring all relevant parties are notified;liaising with Edinburgh Research Office to submit the funding application. The Edinburgh Research Office (ERO) work alongside researchers to grow ideas into successful research projects. Research Funding Specialists from ERO work with School Research Offices to support the submission of funding applications. For these demand managed calls, an internal selection process is employed to ensure the most competitive bids are chosen in a fair and transparent process. All active, recent, and upcoming demand managed calls are listed on the ERO SharePoint.
