CAHSS Professor Receives 2025 Chancellor’s Award for Teaching

Professor Judy Robertson, Professor of Digital Learning in the Moray House School of Education and Sport, has received a 2025 Chancellor’s Award for Teaching. CAHSS also congratulates all staff recognised at this year’s awards ceremony.

Celebrating CAHSS Teaching Excellence

Professor Judy Robertson, Professor of Digital Learning in the Moray House School of Education and Sport, is among four University of Edinburgh staff members to be honoured with a 2025 Chancellor’s Award. The awards recognise excellence in teaching and research, and outstanding contributions to the University community.

Awards Ceremony at Holyroodhouse

The awards were presented by the Chancellor, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, during a gala dinner held this week at the Palace of Holyroodhouse. The Lord Provost, Councillor Robert Aldridge, joined in congratulating the winners.

Chancellor’s Award for Teaching

Professor Robertson received the Chancellor’s Award for Teaching in recognition of the significant impact of her work on enhancing children’s education in computer science, data literacy and artificial intelligence, and in engaging teachers in professional learning. Her work exemplifies CAHSS’s commitment to innovative, inclusive and future-focused education.
