Three awards are offered to senior US academics to contribute to intellectual life at Edinburgh through six month appointments. A grant is available each year to be used towards related travel and maintenance costs. Three awards are offered to senior US academics to contribute to the intellectual life of the University of Edinburgh through seminars, public lectures and curriculum development in any discipline in the College, one per year for each of three years. The appointments will each be for a period of 6 months, the first beginning at any point from 1 September 2011 to 30 April 2012. Candidates will be selected by the Fulbright Commission and the Council for the International Exchange of Scholars (CIES) to receive a grant to be used towards related travel and maintenance costs.
