The Innovative Learning Week provides space outwith the curriculum for staff and students to explore new learning activities. Activities Innovative Learning Week takes place in week six of semester two, from 20-24 February 2012. During this week, regular teaching on most courses will be replaced by a programme of activities. Examples of planned activities are: student-led workshops conferences transferable skills workshops CV and career preparation local field trips project work Q & A panel sessions Introduction of an innovative learning week was approved by Senate in June 2010. Exceptions For a small number of degree programmes, where teaching goes on over an extended period, opt-puts from the Innovative Learning Week have been approved by the Curriculum and Student Progression Committee.
