A Business School academic has secured European funding to examine the effectiveness of current mediation services in conflicts between employers and employees. Dr Kristina Potocnik will lead the Edinburgh part of the project. The European Commission grant is part of a wider Horizon 2020 award led by the University Leuven and involving 12 institutions from across the continent. The project will compare different systems from across Europe and evaluate how useful mediation is as a tool for collective labour conflict resolution.
